This lovely conversion had an uninspiring sloping garden with plain lawns either side of a straight path.
The owners were keen to keep a good amount of grass but wanted year round colour and a garden that would attract wildlife. The main access to the house is from the gravel car park at the bottom of the garden to the door so the path had to be practical but pretty as it would constitute a major part of the finished garden.
Gentle changes of level were creating with stone dykes and a small patio secluded with trellis panels added near the house. Over time the garden has matured to a flowing mix of shapes and colours.
